The India Italy High Level Dialogue on Economic Relations is an exclusive platform addressed at Indian and Italian business leaders, created to compare mutual priorities and objectives, identify areas of collaboration and develop an increasingly productive network of knowledge and contacts.

The programme of the 2nd edition included a plenary session, opened by AIICP President Emma Marcegaglia, and Confindustria Vice President for Export and Investment Attraction Barbara Cimmino. It was followed by a presentation of the Position Paper on Italian-Indian relations prepared by TEHA Group, which was then discussed by the participants.

Drawing from the results of the 1st edition of the High Level Dialogue in 2020, and the challenges and opportunities identified in recent bilateral meetings, the participants of the 2024 Dialogue were divided into four parallel sessions, to further analyse the opportunities offered in key sectors such as:

  • transport
  • agro-industry
  • energy and digital transition
  • industry 4.0

The initiative is promoted by the Italy-India Association for Cooperation between the Two Countries (AIICP), in collaboration with Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, Embassy of India in Rome, TEHA Group, Confindustria, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
