Today, thanks to the exponential growth in the potential of digital technologies, we have, for the first time in history, the ability to create not just simple 'models', but true digital copies of reality: these are the Digital Twins, dynamic representations of physical objects, systems, processes or people based on the collection and processing of a huge amount of data in real time.
The Digital Twin enables companies and managers to reduce costs, increase product and process efficiency and, consequently, improve business performance, while also being a key ally in the journey towards a zero environmental impact society. What, however, are the potential impacts of this technology on the competitiveness of the country-system?
To answer these questions, The European House - Ambrosetti and Atos Italia are organising the Forum 'Digital Twin for the Twin Transitions: building 'digital twins' of reality for a more competitive, efficient and inclusive society': a unique opportunity to discuss the impacts of Digital Twin technologies. The event will be held in Milan, on February 10, 2023, from 10.00 to 13.30.
