ECAM Council 2023

The fourth edition of the ECAM Council was held in Rome on July 24, 2023, as a side event of a meeting of the Coordination Hub of UN Food Systems. The meeting was dedicated to the topic "Driving change today for a prosperous planet tomorrow: food security and sustainable healthcare", with a focus on healthcare and food security opportunities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The event was an opportunity to present the most significant initiatives promoted and developed by ECAM in selected countries, such as Iraq and Tunisia, among which training programmes and scholarships for young talents in the fields of healthcare and agriculture.

The European Corporate Council on African and the Middle East is a private and non-profit association, founded by the San Donato Group and GKSD Investment Holding, with the aim of developing realistic, effective and durable solutions for more sustainable healthcare systems, with particular attention to common issues affecting the southern hemisphere of the globe.
