What economic, social and environmental effects of the installation of mains water dispensers in Italian residential buildings
The European House - Ambrosetti, 1st Italian private Think Tank and Celli Group presented the results of the Position Paper “Smart Home 5.0. What economic, social and environmental effects of the installation of mains water dispensers in Italian residential buildings".
The study aims to understand the contribution and value of water efficiency in Italian residential buildings and the effects in terms of economic, social and environmental sustainability deriving from the installation of mains water dispensers. The starting point is to rethink in a "smart" key all the elements that make up society, to ensure that they are interconnected and can give life to a concept of urban and sub-urban space that is reactive and functional, totally different from the traditional model. It is the model of "Society 5.0", theorized by Professor Yuko Harayama and tested by the Japanese government as part of the "5th Science and Technology Basic Plan": an information society, with the well-being of its citizens at its center, capable of integrate the most advanced data, information and technologies to generate sustainable and shared public value, which includes all segments of the population.
